Sounds of Japan : Sounds of Japan - a Piano Area Benefit Concert, 2010 January 16, Libby Gardner Concert Hall, University of Utah. How often do you see the beautiful traditional kimono together with Taiko drums, Koto, piano, and vocal music, all by Japanese composers? This was a rare event and it was an honor be able to hear and see it all. Please feel free to add your own comments to the photos. You may notice that these photos are cropped to several different ratios (most are 3:2, 5:4 or 2:1), and they will look best in prints if you match them to their exact print size such as 5x10, 8x12, and so on. Country Club Swim Meet: Northcrest @ SL Country Club : Swim meet June 22 Northcrest at Salt Lake Country Club. It didn't rain! What a concept! Northcrest put up a valiant effort (at least the team members who were present for the meet did, hint, hint) but was soundly defeated. So our underdog status is secure. 50% of the net sales of these photos goes to support the Northcrest Pool.

Holcomb Party : Another rainy day here in "Seattle Lake City" as some are starting to call it. A perfect day for a potluck and for shooting indoors in dim available light. I'm a sucker for infants - I find their eyes fascinating. So enjoy these photos, including some of the new chicks.
