This Green River originates near Square Top Mountain in the Wind River range of Wyoming and ends at its confluence with the Colorado in Canyonlands National Park, Utah, a few hundred miles later. It's not dammed, but many of its tributaries are. It has some great fishing, some class III rapids, and a lot of flatwater in spectacular western desert canyons.
